Parents/guardians have the right to homeschool their children.  South Carolina statutes provide parents/guardians with three different options for homeschooling their children.  Option one allows a parent/guardian to homeschool their children if approved by the local School Board.  Option two allows a parent/guardian to homeschool with the support of the South Carolina Association of Independent Homeschools.  Option three allows a parent/guardian to choose a homeschool association from the Approved List and meet their homeschool requirements.  If you have questions regarding homeschooling, please contact the Office of Student Services at 864-206-2255.
