Congratulations to JD Bonner, AVID Student of the Month for November 2022. "JD is one of the most highly motivated students in AVID this year. He is a hard worker and always strives to do his best. JD is one of two 9th grade AVID students who are currently exempt from TRFs but he is more than willing to lend his classmates a helping hand during tutorials. Schedule: December 19: Regular Bell Schedule - 3rd & 4th block exam. December 20 (half day) - 1st block exam: 8:15 am - 9:50 am, 2nd block exam: 10:05 am - 11:35 am, Homeroom: 11:40 - 12:00, and Lunch (all students) 12:00 - 12:45.  School will be dismissed at 12:45 pm. All students have lunch prior to dismissal on the half day, December 20.

Major Change: Buses will pick up 15 minutes later than when they have been picking up, beginning TOMORROW morning, Tuesday, December 6. This change will become the "normal" pick up time. This DOES NOT change any times with Special Needs Buses.

Home Basketball Protocols. Ticket Procedures, Admission: Varsity - $6.00, JV - $5.00. Tickets are cash only at the gate. Everyone entering the stadium must have a ticket. Children 5 and under do not need a ticket. High School League passes will be accepted. All games can be viewed on the NFHS Network for those who have a subscription. For more info., go to www.nfhsnetwork.com. Guidelines: The Cherokee County School District Clear Bag Policy will be enforced. All spectators are required to pass through a metal detection system. All staff / spectators are highly encouraged to stay home if they have a fever or feel sick. An adult must accompany students in grades k-8. Concessions will be available. No pets allowed, with the exception of service animals.
Attendance Make Up Days, Monday-November 28th, Tuesday - November 29th, Wednesday -November 30th, Thursday - December 1st. 3:35 pm - 4:45 pm in the Auditorium. Students must bring assignments to work on. Students cannot make up seat time during athletic practice times. Students must be present in the Auditorium to receive make up seat time.

End-of-course examination program. EOCEP Testing Fall 2022 . Thursday, Nov. 30: English II Writing, Tuesday, Dec. 6: English II Reading, Wednesday, Dec. 7: US History, Tuesday, Dec. 13: Algebra I, Wednesday, Dec 14: Biology I. All Testing begins promptly at 8:15 am.
