Cherokee County School District has a comprehensive safety plan that addresses a variety of safety measures. Our Safety Team works hand-in-hand with the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office, Gaffney Police, Blacksburg Police, all Cherokee County Fire Departments, as well as the Cherokee County Emergency Management Department.

 Our goal is to provide a safe and secure environment for our students and staff through a proactive approach including training, developing safety plans, and establishing positive relationships with local first responders. School safety is our number one priority.
